Thermal Analysis Daylight Simulation Solar Analysis
At SNS we perform a comprehensive analysis of building design at the conceptual stage, be it the energy simulation, or day light simulation, or CFD analysis. The Energy Conservation Building Code (ECBC) was launched in May 2007 & 2017 by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), Ministry of Power.. ECBC is now mandatory for all types of buildings in the majority of states in India as the government took the decision to implement energy efficiency methods to save power. The ECBC is applicable to all buildings or building complexes that have a connected load of 100 kW or greater, or a contract demand of 120 kVA or greater and used for commercial purposes.
We at SNS generate ECBC (Energy Conservation Building Code) Analysis reports as a part of a process towards obtaining Environmental Clearance. The purpose of this report is to present the performance of the design building in comparison to baseline requirements. The building is analysed under the points given in the ECBC code for openable Window to Floor area Ratio (WFR op), Visible Transmittance (VLT), Thermal Transmittance of Roof (U Roof) and Residential Building envelope transmittance value (RETV) for building envelope.
Shadow Analysis
Shadow is an important consideration in the design process as it impacts a building's design, performance and occupants’ satisfaction. We at SNS using our Shadow analysis allow designers to evaluate the movement of the sun across a site and understand how shadows cast by nearby buildings, trees, or other objects will impact solar access and natural lighting for green Building Certification and Environment Clearance. Shading analysis is one of the most essential steps in phase of solar energy system design or analysis. The shadow analysis report analyses the orientation, location, form of the building and its effect on the building premises and the occupants.
Traffic Analysis
We at SNS generate Traffic Analysis reports as a part of a process towards obtaining Environmental Clearance. The reports majorly include taking vehicle counts on Site to obtain the PCU (Passenger Car Units). Forecasting the traffic growth and mapping it according to the LOS (Level of Service). Further we provide the Retrieval Timings for the vehicles and the occupants of the project during the case of an emergency, and also provide a traffic management plan and points taking into consideration the onsite conditions.
